We are incredibly excited to announce that Nick Mulvey and Rodrigo y Gabriela will be headlining this years Solstice On The Mount concert taking place on Thursday 20th June 2024. Occurring on the same day everywhere on the planet, the Solstice connects everyone in a truly global moment.
We invite you to join us for Solstice On The Mount for an incredibly special, alcohol-free evening where we will celebrate world music and culture in a unique, natural setting; connected, present and in the moment.
NICK MULVEY
Previously a member of the critically acclaimed group Portico Quartet, Nick Mulvey frames themes of nature, spirituality and personal growth as a focal point embellished with his distinct blend of folk, pop and intricate guitar work alongside poetic and introspective lyrics. 2024 sees the 10th anniversary of his Mercury Prize nominated debut solo album ‘First Mind’ featuring the hit singles ‘Fever To The Form’ and ‘Cucurucu’. Nick will be on stage at 9.50pm at the pinnacle moment when the Solstice takes place; connecting concertgoers in time & with his music and the natural world around us.
RODRIGO Y GABRIELA
Rodrigo Y Gabriela are long-established masters of their instruments whether it is Rodrigo’s shimmering, hummingbird flourishes or Gabriela’s extraordinary engine-room rhythm. Dancing between world and rock and teaming with Hispanic passion, the fire in Rodrigo y Gabriela’s music stems from the duo’s life-long passion for jazz, flamenco and Latin creating unique and truly explosive performances on just two acoustic guitars.
